Tuesday September 27th Unit 1 Test

Hello Students and Parents,

Tuesday we are having our first Unit Test on Tuesday.  Please make sure you are studying and preparing yourself for the big day.  For that Tuesday you will only need a number #2 pencil and an eraser for changing your answer.  Also please bring a book to read in case you finish the test early.

I usually use this blog to sometimes give out extra credit.  So here we go.  Please do the following to earn a 2% extra credit on your test for Tuesday.

1. Unscramble the following terms below.
2. Email me at mateo.garcia@browardschools.com to give your responses for the scrambled words.
3. Leave a comment on the blog letting me know who you are and that you emailed me with the correct words for the unscramble.  

I will give extra credit for the first two people from each period of my science classes.  Happy thinking and here are the words.

Unscramble:
1. pothehysis- an educated guess
2. yrehto- an idea or belief that is based on data or observations
3. mitshce- a person who studies chemicals
4. tinsvaserobo- something you do every day with the 5 senses
5. tisgecne- the study of inherited traits
6. lecl- a small building block of life
7. denitnepdten- a variable in an experiment that is controlled, manipulated, or handled
