To my future students,
I am learning much where I am today. I am learning much about who I am because of the difficulties that I have faced in the past. I have learned most recently that I get frustrated and impatient when a simple task that I am trying to do will not happen. I was trying to pay my rent online last night and the internet was not operating as it should. Now I am not talking about I'm just impatient and it would load fast enough. I'm saying it wouldn't load. I remember the days when the first speed of internet that existed was called dial-up. It operated over a phone line. A phone line is also called a landline. It was slow and the routers would make a very peculiar high tech sound in the late 1990's.
My internet was slower than that. Mrs. Garcia, being the wise woman she is suggested I do it in the morning. I huffed and puffed because I couldn't get my way in the moment and eventually surrendered. I closed the computer and said I would do it in the morning.
When I woke up this morning (which was unbelievably early 3:35am) I went right to the computer and payed my rent. The internet was fast. I was delighted that it was able to be done and done quickly.
Sometimes in life you simply have to do what you want later. Be willing to let go. Don't waste your energy on being upset that you didn't get to do what you wanted when you wanted. I could have paid my rent with actual money as well so it would have been completed for sure. I would just not be able to do it when I wanted in the fashion I wanted. It will work out.
I hope this helps you. Learn from others mistakes.
A learner like you,
Mr. Garcia
