Thursday was quiz day.

Hello students and parents,

Today we had the quiz I talked about.  It all seemed to go well.  I did not make the quiz hard but simply straight to the point.  I hope you all did well.  I'm sure you did if you studied.

My regular classes talked about the Research project that is due on December 14th.  We are starting the experiment for the project.  Our question is "Do middle school boys or girls have better hand eye coordination?"  We are playing a small video game on a cell phone to test each person's ability to fly a helicopter as long as they can.  We are going to be testing 50 boys and 50 girls.  We will most likely test more than that but will be only using the data from fifty of each gender.  We will be writing our hypothesis, title page, and statement of purpose tomorrow in class.

My advanced classes we talked about the skeletal system.  We learned quite a bit already in just a very short time.  We learned about the two skeletons, the three parts of the skeletal system, what bones are made of, and how bones are attached.  We will continue tomorrow with our system projects and as well talk about our research projects.

Once again the research projects are due on December 14th.  It is fast approaching so please don't delay in getting this important project done.  We have 29 days before they are due!!!!!
